PROJECT: PAINT & STRIPES
Bruce painted the hood stripes as well as the  hand-lettered, stylized "Z51" emblem.

Bruce has been in the sign-painting/pinstriping business, located in the South Bay (Torrance) area of Los Angeles, for quite some time and he does excellent work.

He also painted my helmet silver and black to match the Corvette.

Jimmy painted the car after I crashed it in '96.  The paint is a little bit lighter than what the factory offered for the Corvette in 1987; it's now more of a Porsche silver metallic.  Jimmy is a fellow Corvette lover who has been in the auto repair business for a quite a while.  He also has excellent workers helping him in his shop.
